The publication introduces the stories behind the hotel together with nearby temples, gardens, streets, and local shops, presenting a stay at the hotel and a walk through Kyoto as one continuous experience.

The design draws on the idea of “Layers of Beauty,” using overlapping photographs and text to create a sense of depth throughout the pages.
